Jina and Greg, G. Peabody Library Wedding, Baltimore

March 2, 2011

When I’m thinking about last weekend I still get this flooding feeling of gratitude.  A three day stay in the hippest part of Baltimore, two cultures fusing in this gorgeous wedding, one loving family and lots of books… I kinda new it will be incredible event, but still wanted to pinch myself while moments unfolded…

Here is Danielle, Greg’s sister. I photographed her 2 day wedding last summer (you can see it here and here).  She sings like.. well, I really can’t find a better word: an angel.

And here is her mom.  Listening… or rather feeling…After heart moving ceremony, the limo took us around the beautiful sights of Baltimore:Blowing wind and the low temperatures didn’t stop Jina to look radiantly beautiful:

Jina’s mom hand-made this magnificent vail:L.o.v.e.

Jina and Greg call themselves gigs, hence the venue in historic George Peabody Library.  I call them romantic. Surrounded by thousands of soulful old books, celebrating their own love story.  The table numbers where printed on little books that contained cute little stories of Jina and Greg’s life.  And the favors? Bookmarks! :)a-maiz-ing:

This is something they are known for.  Constantly holding hands and swinging them in a joyous child-like way.My favorite part of celebration: a p’ye-baek Korean tradition: costumes,  paying respect to groom and bride’s family, throwing of dates and chestnuts and piggyback ride :)
Four dates = four kids :)Jina and Greg, thank you.  No, I mean THANK YOU.   It was a true blessing to be part of your day and the whole weekend.  I hope your life together will be full of books,  children,  happiness and… holding hands :)
